  • Andrew & Alese Roemisch, DVM
    Veterinarians, Practice Owners

    Drs. Andrew & Alese opened Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital in February of 2015. They began the clinic with the goal of providing top quality, affordable care to all species of the Waco area. Dr. Andrew grew up in Stephenville, Texas and graduated from Angelo State University with his Bachelor of Sciences in 2007.  He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2011. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has specific interest in Food Animal medicine and Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Alese, a native of Lorena, attended Texas A&M University and received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science in 2004.  She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 2010.  Upon completion of her DVM, she relocated to San Antonio and completed a one year equine internship at Retama Equine Hospital. She enjoys working with all species but maintains a special interest in Surgery and Equine medicine.

  • Heather Teichgraeber, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Heather is a native of Houston, Texas.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2011.  She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts, West Indies, in 2018.  She completed her clinical year of veterinary school at Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Heather’s primary interests are small animal internal medicine, preventative health and dentistry. Dr. Heather grew up owning Golden Retrievers and loves spending time with her Goldens, Milo and Scout.

  • Lauren Baugh, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Baugh grew up in West, Texas and enjoyed spending time with her uncle in his veterinary practice. This inspired her to become a veterinarian herself. She attended MCC before transferring to Texas A&M for the remainder of her undergrad and veterinary school. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, two golden retrievers and her cat. 

  • Caleb Murphy, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Murphy grew up around Bosque County on a small family ranch. He became interested in veterinary medicine through the 4-H veterinary science program. He received his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Tarleton State University. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2022 as a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys spending time outdoors with disc golf, hiking, camping, and fishing.

  • Mikaela Myers, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Mikaela Myers grew up in the Sacramento, California area. She became interested in veterinary medicine due to her childhood pets, especially her first rabbit, Winston. Dr. Myers received her Bachelors of Science degrees in Zoology and Animal Science at North Carolina State University, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University in Arizona in 2024. Her passion within veterinary medicine is exotic pet medicine including small mammals, birds, and reptiles. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, dog, cat, and four rabbits.

  • Philip Denault, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Denault grew up in Southern Illinois. He was raised on his family farm where they had beef cattle and lots of dogs and cats. This is where he found his love of taking care of animals. Dr, Denault received his Bachelors of Animal Science from Texas A&M in 2019 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Dr. Denault completed his clinical year of veterinary school at LSU. His primary interests in veterinary medicine are food animal medicine and surgery, equine medicine, bovine reproduction, and small animal surgery. When he is not helping animals, he loves to hunt, fish, play video games, watch Texas A&M sports, and spend time with family and friends.

  • Michaela Brantley, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Michaela Brantley grew up in a small town in Central Oklahoma. She first showed interest in caring for animals at a very young age by taking care of her childhood pets. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Central University. She then attended Midwestern University and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Dr. Brantley enjoys working with all species. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, reading and spending time outdoors.

  • Kayla Vineyard, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr.  Vineyard grew up in a small town north of Dallas, Texas. She grew up competing in 4-H, and became interested in veterinary medicine through the 4-H Veterinary Science program. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science: Pre-vet from Texas A&M Kingsville in 2019. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2024. Dr. Vineyard’s primary interests are in surgery, ruminant medicine, as well as general small animal medicine. Dr. Vineyard loves spending time with her husband and 2 cats; Squeaky and Wheels, as well as various other hobbies such as being outdoors, reading, and crochet.

  • Grace Jones, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Jones was born and raised in Scottsville, Kentucky and graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2020 with her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. She continued to Auburn University, receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Dr. Jones’s career interests include surgery, equine reproduction, dentistry, and client education. When she isn’t working you can find her outside or in the water with her dog, Vada.

  • Justin Armstrong
    Business Manager

    Justin retired from the Army in 2013. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2018. Shortly after he joined the Cottonwood family as our Business Manager. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, their Miniature Australian Shepherds and horses.

  • Daniele Lockwood
    Practice Manager

    Daniele has been working in veterinary medicine in various capacities since 2005. She joined the Cottonwood Creek team in 2017. She has taken on the role of our Veterinary Technician Manager. She is currently working to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She spends her free time with her significant other & step-son, running her own non-profit organization, and taking care of her dogs, cats, Russian & Sulcata tortoises, chinchillas and ball python.

  • Olga Delgado
    Front Office Manager

    Olga began her career in veterinary medicine in 2005 and after taking a break to expand her family, joined us in 2018 as a part time receptionist. She quickly grew within our company and has become our Front Office Manager. Olga spends her free time with her husband, four children, two dogs, seven horses and flock of chickens. 

  • Elsa Tellez, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician, Lead Surgery Technician

    Elsa is a native to Waco and joined the Cottonwood family in 2018. She became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2019. Elsa has become our Lead Surgery Technician and takes care of nearly all of our surgical patients. Elsa enjoys spending time with her son, Giovanni and dogs Ellie & Jimmy.

  • Richard Leach, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Richard grew up on his family farm in Hamilton and has lived his entire life in Central Texas, he came to our clinic family in 2018. He became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2019.  Richard has a special interest in equine medicine and laboratory testing. 

  • Tabitha Vasquez, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Tabitha is a native to Llano, Texas. She moved to Waco in 2000 for school and graduated McLennan Community College in 2004 from Veterinary Technology Program and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is married with a daughter and step daughter. Her family currently has 2 adopted dogs. Tabitha loves what she does and being able to work in a busy thriving business. Her free time interests include: hanging out with my family & dogs, sewing, quilting, crochet, and spending time outdoors.

  • Adrian Spence, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Adrian graduated from Maple Woods Veterinary Technician program in Kansas City, Missouri in 2022. A native Kansan, Adrian moved to Waco at the end of August 2022 and joined our staff. Adrian became licensed later that year. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking, and kayaking.

  • Ariell Owens
    Veterinary Technician

    Ariell was born and raised in the Waco area. Her passion for animals brought her to the Cottonwood family in 2020. She’s currently taking classes to become a licensed veterinary technician and really enjoys patient care.  When away from the clinic Ariell enjoys spending time with her daughter, Khylin and their 3 dogs, 2 cats, and hedgehog.

  • Cheyenne Munden
    Veterinary Technician

    Cheyenne was born and raised in Hamilton, Texas. She joined the Cottonwood family in 2020 and is currently working to achieve her goal of becoming a licensed veterinarian technician. She lives in Waco, Texas with her husband, two dogs, and two guinea pigs.

  • Addy Lemoine
    Veterinary Technician Assistant

    Addy is originally from Austin, Texas and relocated to Waco in 2020 to attend Baylor University. Shortly after in 2021, she started at Cottonwood Creek. She is currently studying biology and hopes to attend veterinary school after finishing her undergrad work. When she is not in class or at the clinic, she spends her time with her cat, Cricket, and her dog, Ladybug.

  • LeeAnn Seeton
    Veterinary Technician

    LeeAnn was born and raised in rural part Central Texas. She joined Cottonwood family in 2021 and enjoys working with our patients, primarily in the large animal section of the hospital. She has a deep passion for cattle and horses. In LeeAnn’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Australian Cattle Dogs, cattle, horses and single cat.

  • Erica Cesarez
    Technician Assistant

    Erica was born and raised in Waco. She has always had a passion for animals growing up which brought her to Cottonwood to learn and grow in veterinary medicine. She has a goal to become a licensed veterinary technician and to be able help animals of all shapes and sizes. Erica enjoys spending time with family, caring for her two cats and family dog along with road-tripping and camping when she can.

  • Whitney McGough
    Technician Assistant

    Whitney was born and raised in Waco.  She has always had the passion of working and caring for animals since she was a little girl and plans to achieve my goal of becoming a licensed veterinary technician someday. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time outside hanging out with her husband, 2 daughters Bexley & Haven as well as her dog Roxy and 3 cats.

  • Lilly Smith
    Kennel Technician

    Lilly grew up in Southlake, Texas and is currently in Waco to attend Baylor University and hopes to attend veterinary school after her under graduate studies. When she is not in classes or at work she enjoys hanging out with her two kitties, Binx and Crosby, and her friends! 

  • Dacey Daugherty
    Kennel Technician

    Dacey was born and raised in Waco and joined Cottonwood in the summer of 2023. After graduation, she plans to attend Baylor University to study biology. She has a special interest in research and a love for animals— especially her Boston terrier and parakeet. She is a Level One Certified Veterinary Assistant and is working towards Level Two.
