Welcome to the website for Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital. Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital is a full-service vet clinic with locations in Waco and Groesbeck, Texas. We are at 2200 South Loop 340 in Waco, Texas. Our Groesbeck, Texas office is located at 1228 E. Yeagua Street. We are a locally owned and operated member of the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce.

Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital with locations in Waco, Woodway, and Groesbeck. We offer veterinary services for all species. We are proud to offer life-long quality care to our patients, including after hours, holiday and weekend emergency services. We are a locally owned and operated business dedicated to our community.

At Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital, our goal is to provide our clients and their animals with affordable, quality  veterinary care. Pets are members of your family, and we will treat them with the time and patience they require and deserve. From wellness exams and vaccinations, to surgery and critical care, we offer a variety of services to fit your pet's needs.
Rest assured your pets will be well cared for.
In addition to your companion animals, we are also able to see cattle, horses, sheep, goats and pigs at our Waco and Groesbeck locations. Our barn is now operating at our Waco facility, and while further ongoing improvements and expansions will continue, we are happy to provide care to your large animals.
Can’t bring your animal into the hospital? Our vets also offer house and ranch call services. These are available for both large and small animals.
Emergency, 24-hour services are available for all animals through our primary location in Waco.

Meet Our Skilled Team

Learn Who We Are

  • Andrew Roemisch
    DVM

    Dr. Roemisch grew up in Stephenville, Texas and graduated from Angelo State University with his Bachelor of Sciences in 2007.  He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2011.  Upon graduating from TAMU he worked as an associate veterinarian at Belton Veterinary Clinic.  From Belton Dr. Roemisch took on the goal of opening his own practice, which opened its doors February of 2015.  Dr. Roemisch enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has specific interest in Food Animal medicine and surgery as well as orthopedics.

  • Alese Roemisch
    DVM

    Dr. Alese, a native of Lorena, attended Texas A&M University and received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science in 2004.  She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 2010.  Upon completion of her DVM, she relocated to San Antonio and completed a one year equine internship at Retama Equine Hospital.  Dr. Alese then worked at Belton Veterinary Clinic prior to joining in on the start up of Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital.

  • Lori Horn
    DVM

    Dr. Lori, a native of Hillsboro, attended Texas A&M and received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2013.  She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 2017.  Dr. Horn has a special interest in small ruminant medicine.  She enjoys spending time with her cat spade and her ball python spider.

  • Heather Teichgraeber
    DVM

    Dr. Heather is a native of Houston, Texas.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2011.  She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts, West Indies, in 2018.  She completed her clinical year of veterinary school at Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Heather’s primary interests are small animal internal medicine and preventative health, equine reproduction and herd health and management.  Dr. Heather grew up owning Golden Retrievers and loves spending time with her Golden, Ellie.
